head light questions

Lookin for some new head lights for my 97 tahoe...preferably the HID's or something really bright because I;m going to have tinted covers on them. Any suggestions?

you can do HIDs in stock headlights.

ddmtuning.com has a hid kit and sells for about$55 shipped that just about anybody with a hid kit here uses. It will probably take two weeks to get it though as they are currently being shipped from china to get around some customs issues. Something about it is easier to mail them individually from there as opposed to having entire truck shipping containers being held up trying to get them to the Southern CA. where ddm is.

Might be a dumb question but will the kit work for both the high and low beams...or do I need any other equipment?

it will work but the 55w ballast might light up properly but a relayed light harness solves that problem. Just remember that you can not flash your high beams properly with hids but they will work for regular high beam use.
