Hey all I'm new but am poking around.

Just picked up a 12 denali and I wish GM has caught on to Bluetooth streaming.

What's everyone doing about this system? Replacing head unit or what?

Thanks in advance

You're not remembering correctly. No bluetooth audio streaming until 2014 pickups and 2015 SUV.

Well Damn, this was the first time I have ever been wrong. My apologies OP for getting your hopes up.

I know it didn't stream. No hopes up. Wondering if anyone has tried a Bluetooth aux dongle or anything.

Or are people just replacing the head unit. If so how do I like it?

Bluetooth stream sucks imo, always cutting out/poor quality...get a thumb drive or better - use the hard disk, or worse case get a mini cable. No way aftermarket will function as well as stock hdd nav.

I used a Bluetooth adapter from Amazon in my 2013 Impala. i hardwired a cigarette adapter behind the dash, then used a low profile 90* bend aux cable to plug into dash. It was low profile and accomplished what I needed.
