If you are trying to prematurely rot your heads then it will work. The moisture build up with wraps makes headers last a very short period of time. They do lower exhaust temps, but they kill headers quicker than without the wrap.

I wouldn't be worried about Rotting your heads (they are aluminum, and don't come in contact with the exhaust wrap)

as far as your headers,
get a good set (staneless) and you don't have to worry about them either
(kooks, staneless works, borla, etc...)

but for the guys that go cheap and get a set of mild steel (headman, pace setter, ebay special, etc...) headers, I'd stay away from header wrap.
those headers aren't gonna last that well anyways, they don't need any help falling apart

I wouldn't worry about wrapping them either, it works, OR, send them and get coated inside and out by a coater, like HPC ( high performance coatings), they do them inside and out, I do all my headers in HPC. ( unless they are stainless)

Guys I already have the DynaTech LT Headers

DynaTech's are good QUALITY staneless headers,

I would not be worried about the header wrap hurting them.

much better than ANY of the mild steel ones people waste there money on around here
