I've seen that some people have done the project where they bake their headlights, pull them apart and blackout the headlight or just paint over the orange reflector. I too would like to black out or "smoke out" my headlights.

I came across a headlight cover which looks like it may do the trick.

Does anyone else have these? Tried these? do they look good?

Thanks.

Geez, GTO light covers have been around forever! Personally, I don't like the look at all. And I don't think your local law enforcement will like them, either...

The "Joey mod" light treatment looks good because you can still see the lights inside. I don't like the slab of black that the covers provide.

Ok heres the deal. I used to have covers on my hoe for about a year. It looks sexy but drastically reduces light. Even with hids. When i tried to get my inspection they bull ******* me and made me take them off. They even wrote it down that i had some smoked covers so i get a ticket if i rock them on my truck. Right now im selling mine but they are for a 88-98 model but remember dont use when getting inspection and popos dont give 2 ***** on them so thats not a problem. I say do it if u want but just no what can happen

please dont slap those GTO covers on your tahoe... Unless you have a old foxbody mustang, either back the light or use vinyl....Those things are so 80s

If you want the 80s look why not just flip your collar up over your members only jacket and wear your sunglasses at night?

You'll be just as kewl and probably see better too. :D
