Headlight indicator light

Just recently I changed the housing of the bumper lights for clear ones. A few days after I'd did that, I noticed that the headlight indicator light wasn't coming on anymore. I've tried turning the lights on with the switch and automatically, but is the light out on the dash, or did I put the wires back in wrong? Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

I'd take out the cluster and check the bulb. 2000-2002 have the easy twist lock bulbs. Btw, you said you put wires back. what wires did you take out?

I phrased that a little weird. I just meant I removed the bulbs and headlight housings, I didn't actually do anything with the wires, I just wasn't sure if I pinched them or something like that.

Headlight Indicator Light on cluster??? My '04 does not have it, the '06 I sold a while back did not have it either?

What am I missing, unless on both trucks it is/was broke?

It just comes on when the headlights are on, but mine quit working. My 03 suburban has it, so does my 2012 Camry

Haha. I don't have it either. I must have been thinkng about the obs which has the drl light on the cluster. Blue2002 must be referring to the headlight switch?? If so, the bulb needs to be soldered.

Thanks Chauncey, thought I was loosing my mind. I remember my OBS had that yes. Turned off as soon as you switch on the headlights.

But if BLUE2002 is talking about the switch, that lights up with the rest of the dash when the lights are on.

I am getting confused now, .................

NO LED Lights on mine.

They were only on the 2003 models.
