Headlight Painting

How hard is it to tape off and paint the inside of the Tahoe headlights? I was gonna have someone else do it, but I prefer to do as much work as possible on my truck myself. Also what kind of prep should I do, and what kind of paint should I use. And what brand of aftermarket OEM style headlights are the best quality for this project? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

What part of the headlight do you want to paint, the part that is black from factory?

I wanna paint any chrome inside the headlights except for the actual lights "bowls" and tint the yellow reflector

I would be scared of leaks galore after taking apart the lights.

I cut open a set of OEM headlights and painted them black but it was a pain getting them sealed up. I think the replica headlights will separate using the oven method! Might give that a shot so you won't screw up your stock headlights!

Probably a quality silicon sealant will do that job for sealing it.

don't know much about painting that stuff man, keep us posted.
