Headlight Question

SO i found this website that has some bumper lights that i want. They are black smoked look. I want to get a set of headlights to match but all the headlights that i seem to find are that projector style with the stupid glow ring around them. I really dont like that look. Any idea of where i can find a set of smoked lenses?

I was refering to the refective part on the inside. How would you do that

Oh, so you meant black housings not smoked lenses. Yeah, I've notice most aftermarket black yukon projectors come with halos but you could get them and leave the halos disconnected. Or get some denali projectors and take them apart and paint them black.

personally i like halos but to each their own but just put the headlights in the oven for like 2 min and pop em open, paint then resemble with clear cocking

what do you need to do to take that amber coating off for the turn signals. Also what would you recommend for paint. WIll it still have the reflective characteristics still??

For the headlights you can bake them and take them apart to remove the amber. For the bumper lights, I believe you would have to buy clear if you don't want the amber. If you want the housings black, I would think you could paint them with any paint for plastic. If you paint the entire housing black, then no, they will not be as reflective.

Or you could bake an pull your stock lights apart and paint them (joey mod) like posted above
