I'm looking for some info on upgrading the headlights on my 99 Yukon.
My stock lenses are dull and yellow. I tried the restore stuff and it worked a little bit, but not a whole lot better. So I'm looking at my options; 1) replace lenses with new OEM 2) a new after market assembly (lens, reflector...) 3) projector type assembly or 4) HID set up. The bottom line is I want more light output. I would like to keep it simple and go with a "plug & play" set up so I don't have to do any modifications, but if it takes going to an HID I will do it. So what will give me most bang (or light) for the bucks! Any and all suggestions/recommendations/experiences are greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your help.

They have lots of lights on eBay for or trucks. Make sure the lense is glass not plastic sense you want to use a HID kit. The 35 watt kit is all you need it has plenty of brightness I have the 5000 k in mine and you
Will need to adjust the head lights down so you want blind others. Also do the relay kit.

I have Sylvania silverstar ultras in my hoe and in my opinion they have the best output of a halogen bulb you can get. I love them. I just replaced my Sylvania headlamp assembly with aftermarket clear lens headlight, led marker lights, and corner lights and I love how they look...but the light output isn't quite as good as my faded Sylvania assembly. I get clear light but the beam isn't nearly as large as what I had.

ok guys thanks for the input. I read soulsea's sticky and it was very informative. So at this point, I'm just looking for a quality replacement lens/housing (since I put new Sylvania bulbs in last month). I say quality because I don't want to end up with some "made in China" crap off ebay. I don't mind paying a few extra buck for a quality part that fits correctly.
Any suggestions on brand and/or where to get them?
Thanks again guys!

Yeah the assembly I bought must be a off brand Crap version because my light output is nowhere near as good as the ones I removed. I've heard anzos are a really good replacement housing but I can't tell you from experience just something I see on here a lot.
