is there a way to have auto headlights always come on? also is there a way to wire the fogs to come on with the headlight and not have an icon on the dash?

Yes and yes. Auto headlights would be fooling the light sensor into thinking it's night, but I'm not sure how to do that. Also, this would cause your radio etc to be dimmed and you probably wouldn't hardly be able to see them during the day.

For the fogs, it's the 6-hi mod. Google it and you'll find it.

Not the best solution, but if you're desperate, you can cover up the light sensor with tape/cap. I'm curious to see if anyone has a better approach to this, though I doubt there's anything anyone's ever done given our trucks come with DRL functionality. I know you can dial up the interior lighting via dial so not a complete lost cause!

so the same way you jump all the wires. just thinking in my head. if the relay for the drl puts out 12v( if not need a new relay) i can jump that to the headlight relay going it 12v to turn on. only down side is that the drl would be on also.

again i haven't poped the hood to even see what relays r there

any input helps
