What temp thermostat?? You sure it's in right?? Pull the hoses and see what kind of flow you are getting. I bet you have a blocked hose.

If i had a blocked hose wouldnt over heat or something because everything seems to be operating properly.Temp runs aroun 210 thats pretty much norm with a 195 right.

The heater hoses can be blocked and it will have no affect on the cooling of the engine.

I agree with retorq, must be something blocking or keeping the coolant from flowing through the hoses. Perhaps a vacuum leak or vacuum control problem, that controls the flow valve. Have you checked for “air lock”. :)

i had a similar problem on my 89 sierra. I did the same things and still had no heat. I ended up taking the heater core hoses off. Took a hose to one end and you wouldn't believe all the crud that came out. I then Reversed the hose and flushed it the other way. Problem solved
