LOL heated fluid would be cool if I were still in Boston. I just dump warm water on the window in the AM if it's iced ...

I like that. I am about 3 weeks from moving to the mountain and this might work well living in 3 feet of snow soon.

only 100.00 is not bad.

i have that. It looks like the alphatherm heated washer kit. Its pretty cool. its setup so the unit only turn on when there is more than 13.5 v. Had mine hooked in all year, no probs. The unit holds some washer in the resivor and that gets Heated. The fluid sprayed on to the windshield is not Hot, but luke warm so theres no worries of cracking windows. I have however a few days where the tips Freeze solid on really cold days. Hot water freezes faster than cold water apparently. Maybe it was due to the generic Washer fluid that was use from the dealer. Ill try a heavy duty winter/ice washer fluid this year and hopefully i get better results

This then seems a bit spends for what you get. My new place has space for 3 cars and a workshop with plenty space for parking Att and snowmobile. If it comes lukewarm is that only to not crack your windshield. Will this work 100% if you are in -5 - 30 weather?
