I am trying to figure out why I dont have heat in my tahoe and have been replacing parts and now I am at the heater control valve but dont know its location, so far I have changed my blend door actuator. I have rear heat but it takes a while to get hot so I figured I will change the heater control valve now so if anyone could point me to its location it would be appreciated! if that doesnt work I am gonna replace the thermostat!

heater control valve is right by the 2 hoses that lead to your firewall for the heater core. super simple to replace and get too

There is a sensor in the headliner. Behind what looks like a speaker grill above the dri vers seat. I had mine replaced and the hvac system codes cleared...
hope that helps

Where is the "blend door actuator" located? My gf has some heater issues as well. Water temp is fine but sometimes the air goes to cold out of the blue???
