Heater questions

I have a 07 Tahoe. For some reason my heater only works on really cold days which is good but on days when its chilly or hot the heater wont work at all. It will just blow cold air. Is there a module or something I would have to change to have it work all the time? Trying to save a trip to the expensive ass dealership

You could be low on coolant.

X2. Check your coolant level and get an infrared temp gun and check the thermostat area for proper operation. Original owner? Bought used when? Maintenance records? Last cooling system flush? Thermostat ever replaced? Start with the basics first before you assume a module or actuator problem.

2nd owner.bought 2 years ago. been having this problem with the heater since i bought it. Never did a cooling system flush. thermostat never replaced since i owned it
