Hi to all. Can I install a HEI distributor and a carburator with manifold on my Yukon GT L31 engine?

If yes, will I have issues with the 4L60E transmision shifting?

yes and big yes. the pcm will essentially be useless and things that need engine data will shut down. then your need to get a tranny controller and sensors for it which can easily surpass $700 for that stuff. then there is tampering with commission requirements. then there is changing the fuel system. then there whatever goes wrong along the way. it is doable tho.

You will need to keep the factory coolant temp sensor for the computer a throttle position sensor bracket for your carb Holley makes one and on your hei dizzy you will need to find the tachometer wire and tap into it so the computer can read the rpm for the trans shifting and others pretty much keep all your computer stuff and wire in the tachometer and a return style fuel pressure regulator I used a Holley and a fuel pressure gauge it's not hard but is costly if you decide to do so I can help guide you on what to do
