Just wanted to say hello and a big thank you everyone that posts and helps to educate the new and naïve. I've been trolling for a few months while trying to find what I was looking for. During that time I have been able to learn a lot and search for what I couldn't find on my own. So thank you for everyone that posts that have saved me from making un-educated decisions...like HIDs stock headlights.

I had been looking for a 3rd car for our family for about 6 months and recently my DD had a main bearing failure at 30K miles and is getting a new long block. That kinda sped up the time table for the new car since I didn't want to have to pay for a rental for 6-8wks. Needless to say the Tahoe fit the bill. I needed a tow vehicle as well as a have a few track cars. Something for the snow And more room, Baby is 10 days old today. So since purchasing the Tahoe here is what I've done.

Chevy Tahoe 2007 LTZ all opt except for power running boards bone stock
117,000 on the clock one owner Virtually spotless interior

To make it mine:
Replaced - Fixed center console spring mechanisms
Blacked out mirror caps
Blacked out handles
Plasti-diped emblems
Plasti-diped Grill
Blacked out Bowties - Gloss Vinyl
Plasti-diped wheels - Glossifier - Clear coat
ROLA roof rack with extension
R1 slotted rotors with performance pads all corners
Airaid JR intake with dry filter
all new tires
Installed Brake controller for the trailer
Smart Radar install into onstar.
Mini H1 TRFS retrofit with iris and blacked out interiors (partial) Depo housing
Morimoto GM LED Fogs (Nice since they are black which went with the scheme) - note the polarity is reversed from the manufacture have to switch the connector.

ToDo list
Corsa Touring exhaust
BB tune...looks like they should be stopping about 2hrs away this fall
? 2/3 drop ? on the fence here
Cap for spare tire access

Trying to find a cheap 20" wheel to have a full size spare since one of my take off tires was almost new.

The last pic is of the radar mount with invisicord. Don't spend $80 on the ****** one when you can use a Bike reflector mount that most bike shops throw out and will give you for free.

Thanks again

Aaron

That looks nice. Sweet completed mods list. 2/3 drop. Just do it. I know mine is an NBS, but dropping my truck was one of the best mods I did. Love the stance and the ride. Hit up Tony NorcalSS for his kit. He can dial you in nicely. Welcome!

Welcome! Those headlights are freaking sweet!

And I would do a 2/3 it'll give a great chance and virtually no ride quality difference

I have a 2 month old daughter and drive her around with a 2/3 drop and 26s. She sleeps the whole time! Just drop it! Your truck looks great!
