Apocalypse
TYF Newbie
Hey everybody,
I'm Gary from NJ and just wanted to say hello and thank you (already) for all of the information that you all post. Learned a bunch already. I recently bought an '08 2WD Tahoe hybrid and totally love it. Even my kids love it and are both very happy that I got it. I'm totally new to trucks and don't miss my last car at all now that I have this. I've already used some of that towing capacity by towing my neighbor's Suburban with it. Pulled it like it was nothing.
It only has 27k miles on it and I was lucky to get for only $28K. Still looks pretty much brand new and still has the new car smell.
I've already started the mod process by putting on some 22's bought from the one and only SuperchargedSS and picking up some items from the hybrid modding master soulsea as well. Will be putting on just a little more chrome and removing the large hybrid stickers asap.
If anybody with a hybrid is contemplating moving up to 22's from the stock 18's, I now consider it a "must buy" after driving with them on the truck. Nicer ride and much more stable on the highway besides the great looks.
Here are a few pics. Sorry they are not that good, just haven't had the time to take some nice pics.
