Here is some backgroundon my 06 Yukon SLT 4WD. Been getting a noise in the front end & traction active on the DIC when pulling out. After reading up on this issue on this forum I decided to take it to a mechanic to tell me which front wheel bearing assembly was giving the trouble. He hooked it up and said the passenger front was losing signal from the sensor. I decided to change out the whole assembly since it has 125000 miles on it. I did the job myself and it is relatively simple to do. But after completing the job, my wife took it out for a test drive. she came back and told me its still making noise and traction active is still happening.
Needless to say i am a bit peeved about this....did the mechanic even hook it up ? did he tell me the wrong side? do I need to replace the other side now?
Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
