I'm not very smart when it comes to ohms and rms and peak watts. I have this amp that I got from a buddy for free and I have a 10" box and all I need is this sub and wiring so I'm looking to buy the sub soon but don't know what to buy. All I need is one sub so here's the link to my specs of my amp

I would like to buy off ebay so if anyone can help me that would be great thx!!

A fosgate P2D2 would pair nicely with that. 300rms at 2 ohms sub. Or a cheapr R1

I used to run my 2 kicker 10s on a jensen 400 amp so kickers should ve alright. Maybe 1 tho. Now i run my kicker 10s on a 1600 watt amp

Yes just get power rating at 4 ohms and tune amp accordingly so you wont pop the sub

Ok this will sound dumb but tune the amp? Like adjusting the gain? What's the best way to do it when I hook it up? I'm gonna have a buddy who knows quite a bit with me but I still don't wanna blow it.

Yea gain. Like if you have a 150 rms sub @ 4 ohms turn up gain around half. Fosgate usually under rates their products so that amp will probably push at least 350 rms @ 2 ohms.

Sweet thx man. I appreciate all your help. Am I going to hook it up normally or am I going to have to wire the sub to 2 ohms?
