Hey guys. I came a cross an unfortunate guy who's wife wants him to get rid of his flowmaster cat back exhaust, and put back the stock system because the noise bothers her. I'm more than happy to keep his home happy by swapping our exhaust systems. We both have Yukons, mine is an 01 and his an 03. But his is an XL and mine is a short body. So a few concerns, naturally and I'm needing some advice. What problems if any will we run into with the longer body of the XL? What extra parts will we need? Just starting to mod the truck and give it some love. This could be a great start. I appreciate any input about this. Thanks!

Come on guys! Half the day is gone and not a single reply? Someone has to know. I'd hate to miss out on this opportunity. Help a fellow TYF brother out! Lol.

I imagine you will probably need to cut some length of pipe between the cat and muffler due to the difference in overall length of the vehcile. I do not know the specifics though. Maybe you could ask the 'donor' how long the exhaust is from the header to the cat, cat to muffler, muffler to tailpipe... and then compare that to your measurements?

Thanks Rockytfox. I wasn't sure if it was just a piece of extension that might be needed, or if it's completely different underneath.
