Ok so ive ordered me a set of LPP headers for the hoe and want to make sure i got everything together before i start the install. I had a buddy at my gym say that i should get some locking header bolts so the stay tight. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/STG-8900/?rtype=10 this is what i found. Also from all these right ups ive read it sounds like the band style exhaust clamps work alot better than the u-bolt style. How many do you guys think i would need? I just grabbed a fel-pro header gasket tn and they didnt have any bolts so i guess ill have to order the rest off of summit racing. Any tips and other ideas would be helpfull. Thanks

Don't break the header bolts off in the block, watch ur spark plugs when removing headers/ I had one crack on me, those band clamps should be temporary till u can get someone to weld it up

if high on miles, change plugs and wires now, easier to remove plugs so you don't crack one and have a miss later.

get a small flat and round file to remove sharp edges from things like the heater core box drain tray and various heatshields you will be mangling arms and hands on..

its only got 84k on it. i came home from the bar this morning and sprayed all the bolts and decided to through a wrench on one and the front passenger side came right out easy so im gonna keep spraying them untill i get my parts and they should all come out easy. any body else have problems with the wires rubbing on headers when all put together? i read someone had a problem with that.

Definitely get those stage 8 bolts, I just put my headers in about a month ago and used them after 2 of my stock bolts were broken off. I would consider replacing the plugs+wires when you do your headers since it makes it easier. You are almost at the point where you should be replacing them, so it can't hurt to do it a little early.
