I installed rear spacers from Rancho about 5 months ago. I realigned the rear coil springs so they are properly facing the frame as per the tag on the springs. Twice now the left rear spring has shifted outward in the perch towards the frame and is rubbing on the frame. I have made sure that everything is tight and in its proper place. What would cause this to happen? I am thinking weak spring?

Truck info:

2007 Yukon 4wd. 111k miles. None air susspension.

Help!!

Not at the moment. If you are looking at the rear of the truck, ther top of the spring is moving all the way to the left of the perch. Not staying centered, if that makes sense.

Not my picture but this is the right side of as yukon. if the problem were on the right side, the area in blue would be shifted to the right and the spring would contect the frame when put on the ground.

Was the spacer installed at the top or bottom of the spring, and where did Rancho recommend to put it? Did you install new shocks and are those extended travel? Do you take it offroad and droop the rear to fully exteneded?

They are installed on the bottom of the coil spring. There were no instructions in the box. I searched and could not locate anything for it. The sintructions on their site are for leaf springs even though i entered in the proper part number. i did not add extended shocks as the spacers are only 3/4 inch and are used to match the rear to the Quicklift I amstalled on the front. I have not taken it off road yet, however I do drive on the beach often. DO not recall fully extending the rear axle since install. I have put it back in place twice now and it has done it again. I did email Rancho's engineering dept. I am awaiting proper install instructions.

I can't recall if the bump stops are above the coil or not. If they are, did you reinstall them?

I have the AirLift bags in mine so I cannot verify. Been so long ago since I installed those I cannot remember. Getting old...
