I got under there last night. I had the truck in park with the brake set and I could turn the driveshaft maybe about 1/4 turn i think. didnt measure it exact. But I dont know what this means. I ran on a smaller spare tire for about 2 weeks and the noise started about 4 days ago. The spare is a 245/60 R16 and the rest of my tires are 265/70 R16. Should i swap out the U joints and pray thats what it is or have I ruined my rear diff.?

seriously this should have been kept in the same thread you already started with this issue. creating multiple thread over the same subject just complicates things fro everyone.

Im sorry about moving this. I just had no idea when i started and as i got further into this it seemed to need to be here in drivetrain. Im a newbie to using any kind of forum other than a little bit in cumminsforum. I believe its U joints after hearing the famous squeak.....squeak...squeak.squeaksqeaksqueak noise while slowly speeding up at walmart today.
