I'm wanting to do something to upgrade my stereo system in my tahoe. I have the base head unit, no bose with onstar. I recently upgraded my speakers to the Kicker ds65? I know they aren't the best speakers out there, but it was better than having the stockers in there that didn't even work. I'd like to focus more on a nice DD head unit with nav, touchscreen, etc... Not sure if I need to budget for an amp? I'd also like to have some extra bass coming through as well. Nothing that's going to rattle windows, just sound good. I'd like to do all of this while spending no more than $1K. Is it possible???
