OK, got your attention.
Have done a ton of searching on the forum. I want to replace my OEM stereo in the 2006 Tahoe.
What I would like is a Bluetooth, navigation system with back-up camera that will retain the factory convenience controls in the stereo. My truck also has the factory DVD that I would like to remain as well. Do not care about the on Star.
One odd item with my truck is it has the Bose system but no sub in the rear?
I have looked on Crutchfield, eBay, onlinecarstereo.
Looking for insight as to what brand/model to go with. I understand the need for extra interface equipment to keep the steering wheel controls. I may look at adding the sub at a later date.
For budget, lets say $1,000 for the head unit, interface and camera.

Has anyone ever installed a back-up camera where the button is for the rear window release? I never use it. Just a thought.
