Just walked up behind my truck and saw this:

Now what?

I have Maxcare through Carmax. Haven't called them yet but according to what I've seen online they don't cover the exhaust system.

Luckily it looks like it's just the exhaust tips and the exhaust system still functions just fine. Still though, can I get my exhaust welded back on or do I need to buy a new set of tips?

This is the current state of my exhaust:

It was already installed when I bought the truck, does anyone have any idea what brand it is?

Looks like a magnaflo splitter with tips.

People who did it were dumbasses using steel wire on a stainless part

as far as what to do now, go to a muffler shop and have a new tailpipe made, if not the whole system if the rest looks like that. or order a new catback and install yourself.

Yeah, that wasn't installed well at all. Just a splitter with tips welded on and none of it was welded well. If it was me I'd just cut more off the pipe so that it dumps right after that rear axle (that's the setup I've been running for 2 years) or go to a muffler shop and have them weld in a new tip that you like. From that first pic it looks like you need new tires too or getting close to it

Carmax may or may not cover it, or you might not want them to cover it. Even though you bought the car that way, since its not a factory part, they might give you a hassle. Like said above, find an exhaust shop, throw them a little bit of cash money and theyll get you good to go.

from the first picture it looks like the whole exhaust is an exhaust shops custom system. IMO I would replace the whole system. I would look into a kit online and install yourself.
