Help Need a Quick Answer

Will a 1997 tahoe transmission fit a 1996. I have a chance to grab one for 200 bucks and mine just gave out. I hate to sell the hoe i love the old girl but cant afford the 1800 for a rebuild.

The 4l60e fits in both. There were some revisions in 97 but I think they were electronic. You should be fine.

okay thanks. I just called the guy and left a message hopefully it will work out so I can drive the tahoe again insted of my sisters annoying explorer.
