Need to clean out your throttle body, I'd bet that's the problem!! When mine gets dirty, that's exactly what mine does!

So when taking off and cleaning you should reinstall with new gaskets?

When I cleaned my throttle body I just removed the the intake. Then I just spayed the inside of the throttle body with spray that is made to clean it. They should have it at your autoparts store. Then after I sprayed it I wiped it clean with a tooth brush and paper towels. Do that a few times and let us now how it goes.

I don't take off the throttle body when I clean mine out, I just get some throttle body cleaner, open up the butterfly flap and spray the heck out of everything in there and then wipe anything down that I can get to! Be sure to wipe off the butterfly flap and the joints that make it pivot!! Be prepared to have the truck not wanna start due to all the stuff you sprayed in there but it will start up!!

Get some seafoam throttle body cleaner i think it works the best. Also if never done do a seafoam treatment on the truck. A final note clean out your MAP sensor. It is located on the intake tube. Make sure you use specified map sensor cleaner ONLY!! If you do what i stated you will be amazed of the difference. I clean out the intake as much as i can, if its every other month to every three months. It helps ALOT!! Runs so much smoother its amazing and the throttle response is great!!!
