What I need to know is the Brand
Tell us more about your vehicle. Bose or non-bose? Factory sub? If you open your glove box, do you see an amp behind it?
What brand of Wiring harness did you use installing your radio. There is one install kit that if it has a milliamp jolt to it fries the box which is used for the Bose Amp , the door chimes and ability to use ONSTAR and use the Bose speakers. If you get the right wiring harness the Bose speakers sound great and the 8" speaker sub sound awesome for being in the front. But back to the wiring harness what brand did you use? I went through two of these wiring harnesses because I never disconnected the - battery terminal and I did that the second time and it was junk also. It was the $120 harness sold at Best Buy. If I hear the name of the harness I can tell you if its the junk wiring harness.

I think It maybe ASSEX or maybe Pac as Odd as that may seem because PAC is a good brand but one of the two names given are junk. I installed a Scosche and it worked great and let the Bose sound like they are suppose too. The Bose speakers are not junk they rank with Infinity or Rockford and alpine speakers and the 8" even though mounted in the front bumps pretty good. I opened my mouth way to soon are you working with a Stereo with a Bose amp that takes a $120 wiring harness and it makes the door chimes work and the ONSTAR work or are we talking just about a regular radio with zero amps and two speakers not working. If its a Higher Dollar system with the Bose amp and sub, plus door chimes and ONSTAR I can help. If its a Redneck Truck with two speakers not working and your trying to get it working. Make sure the radio harness is soldered and hooked up securely and just take an old speaker you have in the house and wire the wires to that problem area and wire it up and it works, its the speaker most likely on both are shot, if they don't work then you have a problem from the head unit to the speakers! Trace the wires back to find a break or short or you could run new wires, which is much easier than chasing down a ghost. If this is a 125$ harness and bose speakers to work around than I can help you and the other scenario its just tracing or replacing wires?? I hope this helps/
