Help with changing puddle light

I can't figure out how to change the puddle light... Do I need to remove the screws? Will that open the plastic compartment? Thanks in advance.

once you have the unit out of the mirror, there are two small screws, just remove them and it's a simple swap.

My one side wouldn't come off so I have one non limited light wires are ask screwed up...may buy a new mirror ...

I had to use the type of screwdriver head that comes with a small driver set but rig it so that I can use it with a regular screwdriver handle and it worked like a charm. The other way, I had no torque in my hands.
