Hi,y'all ! I'm new to forum, and I'm hoping ya'll might be able to help me ! I have an 07 Tahoe. A few weeks ago I got bad gas. Tank has been flushed, fuel cleaner has been added,as well as something to get rid of the water. I'm on my second tank of good gas. It's in limp mode, and throwing codes (fuel trim system rich bank 2,Fuel mixture imbalance, and evaporative emission control system leak). What do I do ?! I can't afford to take it back to a mechanic!

evap leak would be one of the evap solenoids or canister, when you drained the tank did you check to make sure everything was hooked back up correctly? if one of those evap lines is loose or got cracked or broken or a harness was left off then that would be that source of the evap leak code, as for the fuel trims it might need to be reset not really sure on that one but that would be my first guess, to do that you will need a tech2 or high end scanner like a snap-on, etc to do that. @swathdiver might have some more insight on that issue

Something broke or wasn't put back together right. As for the Fuel Trims, the Tech-2 or Snap-On is used to reset them but I do not remember the procedure. I have posted about it on here several times though, I get it confused with Fuel Composition Reset, one you can do by itself, the other requires both to be reset in a certain order and the fuel must have no ethanol in it if I remember right.

You can borrow an OBD reader from O'reillys and read/clear the codes after you get the tank connections redone....

Getting bad gas is not easy, did you get it at a regular gas station?
