31D7F770-2BF0-48F9-BDF0-BE7CD25B2C75.jpegI can’t find the plug location for block heater cord for my sisters 2021 Tahoe Z71. This is the unit I am asking about with that style bumper. Yea we have found the cord just can’t find anywhere to plug it into. Looking for pop off panels and can’t find one. I own a 2021 Yukon 3.0 Diesel and a 2020 Sierra with5.7l and found those. But the manual doesn’t even show anything for block heater plug location.

Thanks. Cheers. Happy Holidays.

My engine cord heater plugs were cords folded and attached in the engine compartment. I always thought they should be orange

Yes, I'm pretty sure on Tahoe's and Yukon's the plug is bundled up tight under the hood. No front-end connection. Look around the battery terminal area. I haven't found mine yet, but have never needed it yet, either...

Thank you. Our 21 Yukon has the cord that was in with the spare tire and plugs into the front. The Tahoe we have located the cord it was in the back also. But I cannot find where it would plug into. Unfortunately it’s no longer bundled up under the hood. Thank you

I'm not sure if it's the same on these new rigs, but on the GMT800s the cord ran down the driver's side of the radiator. First time finding it was best done from under the truck. On mine the 110v plug has a cap on it so it's not necessarily obvious.

Yes I agree. But the bumper on the Z71 version is different. The recovery hooks are a bit more prominent and has a skid plate. Just like the picture I posted up top. We are giving up. She’s going to the dealership today lol. It’s been -30 weather the past half a week. Thank you.
