Hi Beam Indicator Blinking

Ran into a new electrical issue as of late. My Hi Beam indicator light has been flickering on and off during the night with the Tahoe off and no key in. I wasn't aware of it until recently and it actually killed the cells on my battery, nearly draining it every night. I've since had to replace the battery but don't want to have the same thing happen again.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Tried researching, some have mentioned testing a relay and or checking ground wires.

i have a 2002 yukon have had a short for a while and i just found my connections to high beam bulbs and turn signals need to be replaced due to corrosion i bought new ones but haven't changed them yet how ever after cleaning out connectors and moving wires around my high beam light went off and my volt meter stopped ticking when i put the turn signal on
