I had a problem with the brake system where the brake lights weren't working properly. I tore the steering column apart and reinstalled it, didn't fix it. I changed the stop light switch, by destroying and tearing the clip off, not by dissasembling the brake system like the manual says. I eventually found the ground that was the issue, and the brake lights work great now. The problem is now the trans seems like it is shifting early, it will kick down into passing gear, but then shifts immediately. I think that it may be due to the stop light switch not being taken off like the manual said. However, I put a new clip on and everything seemed to work fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

The TPS or speed sensor would be the biggy ones here unless you have changed tire overall diameters from big to small with out adjusting your shift points.
