Hi All, :)

I'm pretty new here. My name is Wally. Just been browsing around looking at the pictures of your trucks and they look great.

I would like some recommendation on what type of headlights and fog lights to buy for my 97 2 door Tahoe to install 5K HIDs in.

I'm looking for projector head lights (best to use for HIDs I think) and I found them online but I don't want to buy junk so I was hoping for some suggestions. I would prefer them to be black, I don't mind halos but I don't know how they would look on the truck. I recently replaced the turn signals to nice and clean ones. Got tired of the yellowing clear coat.

The plow is off at the moment too heh.

Thank you.

I thought the factory ones produce too much glare for oncoming traffic. I just wanted to do it the right way, that's all. If you guys think that the regular lights are fine then great, ill just go with that.

Ive never had any probs with glare in my truck just stay away from the 55 watt ballast those are the ones that will blind people....or at least only use them for your highs. I also recomend the 4 hi mod it kicks ass and the raptor hid kits from ddm are flawless

As someone who drives in the opposite direction as you guys with these HID's in stock lenses. There is was to much glare and have thought many times about getting out my crow bar and beating the crap out of the headlights. You have no idea how annoying they are to most. If your going to spend the money on HID's dont cheap out and not buy lenses. It looks cheap IMO. If I was to do this I would do it right or not at all.

Great, I'll get on that mod ASAP.
Do we get any discount through DDM tunning?

Also do I need to buy HID Harness, Error Code Eliminator, Adaptor cables, and or Mounting Brackets???

Before when I got the kit for my Mitsubishi everything was in the box.

unknown at this time.
no discount. The slim ballast would do you fine. I recommend the 35w k color for the best visible light on the ground. Should not need any adapters or eliminators. Most of us just stick them the radiator support grill. You will choose the light bulb type on the site. If they don't work the first time you turn them on then reverse the vehicle connector on the ballast.
