Hey all,
I have a 99 tahoe (old body style(rectangular headlights)) and am looking to upgrade to HIDs. I am curious to advice as to what to buy, been looking at a DDM kit, 55W 6000K. currently am only looking at replacing the low beams. I am wondering if this is a good kit, can it be considered "plug and play" also wondering if anyone knows if I need an error code eliminator or I have read that people install leveling kits and I know nothing of these. Also eventually looking at switching to a Projector style headlamp. wodnering what a good brand is. found some on ebay for like 90 bucks, also found some IPCW ones which are way more spendy. just looking for a good brand, somewhat on the cheap and also wondering if these style headlights have the clearence to fit a HID bulb in. any help would be appreciated.

There are a lot of options. Just post in the forum section that includes the 99 model. FYI this is the nnbs section.

hey man i got the same older body style and i got a set of 8000K xenon for around 125$, the 6000k will be a more white color unlike the eight being a little more blue i would go with 8k and make sure you have clear headlights or they wont look good
