So I had HID's installed on my 08 Tahoe with no relay kit, ran fine for a few months and then a fuse blew under the hood. I decided to buy a relay kit from DDM tuning and it came with a 30a fuse. Once I turned on the HID's, the fuse in the relay blew. Replaced it with another 30a fuse and it blew again.

Should I try a 40a fuse or does anyone have any ideas why the fuse keeps blowing? Thanks in advance.

i wouldnt go to a bigger fuse as you may have even more problems. Try a better ground and check to see if any wires have rubbed through the insulation and caused some of the wiring to touch metal.

I unplugged one of the HID balasts from the relay and the relay fuse no longer blows but the HID that is plugged in to the relay still doesn't turn on. I'll try a better ground.

Yeah do not put a bigger fuse in. Check all the connections.

What wattage is your kit?
