HID RetroFit question?

For all of you that have done the HID retrofit mod on your trucks... What are you doing with the fog lights. I assume you are not using the stock (yellow-ish) fog lights with the bright white HID headlights are you?

But they're really only for looks to match the color of the HIDs, they don't have any useful output ... but since I sold my retro I'm actually going to take them off this weekend.

If you do decide to go with HID's in the fogs make sure you get 25W ballasts as a lot of people who do this mod get melted fog housings.

Felix, it seems somewhat incongruous that someone who would take on the expense and effort of a headlight retrofit would then proceed to slap an hid kit in their reflector fogs ... I'm assuming the op's question is based upon this premise.

I'm still trying to decide what I want to do and if I really want to pay $800 for headlights. I still have my LED's in for turn signals and daytime run lights so it looks stupid with halogen headlights. I'm sure I will do it but may wait and see what tricks Serge has up his sleeve.
