Hey everybody,

So i recently bought some HIDs from DDM and i attempted to install them yesterday. My 6000k low beams were installed without a problem and I am extremely happy with them!

The issue came when i got to the Fogs
I cant seem to figure out how im supposed to install the suckers.
Is there any other parts i need besides the kit from DDM?
Can somebody tell me how they installed theirs?

P.S. Any melting issues for 35w?

Never bought from DDM but your fogs should be just plug-n-play. Your factory plug should go into the ballast and out of the ballast to the new bulb. You should be fine with 35W as well.

I've read multiple thread with melted lenses due to 35 watt HIDs. I went with 25 watt setup.

They probably didnt send you the connector for the 5202 bulb is an odd one.
Go to hidguy.net or com and order their 5202 plug and play harness

35w you're on borrowed time. Eventually they are gonna melt the housings.

Also, they aren't plug and play for the fogs. Gotta use a t-splice connector to run them unless you get a PnP adapter.

well, i hope everything works out

my 5202s were loose when i plugged them, i ended up putting a small zip tie around it to secure it,
also noticed i have the 35w in the fogs too, didnt catch the lense issue till i re-read the entire lighting thread DOH!!

ill check in on the length of time it takes to melt the lenses lol

Definitely not plug n play on the fogs. You can wire directly to the ballast: Purple stock harness wire is positive, so purple to red, black to black. You can just strip off some of the insulation on the factory wires if you don't want to cut off the connector.

You definitely need an adapter wire to go from the factory harness to the ballast .
