So was driving my truck tonight, was going down the road and someone flashed me didn't think much of it. Then looked down and saw the high beam light was on, so went to turn it off and it wouldn't go off, lil bit down the road it went off by its self then parked in front of a building and tested them and they worked fine, but one time it was lit up faintly when they were not on, anyone ever have this happen? Maybe bad multifunction switch? Turn signals are fine.

The high beam light was faintly on, when the lows were on, only happened once, and yes I have the 4hi mod its part of an HD headlight harness had it for over a year no issues

well the relay in the 4hi mod is either contacting because the terminal inside is floating around because of a broken spring or the multiswitch is breaking down internally. if you remove the mod relay and you happen to see your lows or high having random switching you have a defective multiswitch or a wire rubbing somewhere.

delco unit. just remove the column cover using torx screwdriver bits and the switch should be accessible from there.

Do you need to pull the wheel?
