I have searched and searched with no one explaining how they can get the replacement wiper blade to fit. I have 2007 tahoe LTZ and neither the Bosch Icons or RainX latitudes fit the click in connector on my wiper arms.

Has anyone been able to fit these blades the autozone computers recommend? If so how is it done?

That is what everyone says. I am pretty mechanically incline, but the wiper blade has nothing to click onto the arm with like the factory blades. I am going to take it to AutoZone and let them try it out.

Ok, today the people at AutoZone says they don't make replacement wipers that fit the quick connect on my tahoe. She said they should have never sold me the icons yesterday. Guess it is an online order now. :emotions122:

I thought there was a TSB to replace the earrly model GMT900 blade assemblies - at least there was on my Avalanche. The replacement assemblies had the standard arm that all blades could clip on to.

That would make sense with a lot of others saying they have used the rainx and icons. I did order some ac delco replacements that stated quick connect. If they do not fit I am heading to the dealer.

If anyone knows of the TSB can you post the #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some customers may comment that the windshield wipers streak the windshield and do not clean properly at low vehicle speeds.

Cause
This condition may be caused by low blade pressure to the windshield.

Correction

Replace the wiper blades with conventional styled blades. The wiper arms will also have to be replaced.

Open the hood.

Awesome. Mine were not having issues clearing the window. They just chattered really bad when wet so I was going to replace the blades.

I make an appt. with the dealer then.

The OEM blades are made by Valeo and are available from dealer parts or Tirerack. Bosch, Rain X, etc make blades that will attach to the original arms. However they aren't the low profile blades like the originals.

I discovered that by cleaning the blades every time I washed the truck, the originals lasted 2 years which surprised me as most blade were lucky to last a season.

Still haven't found anyone that makes a winter blade for the NBS arms tho.

I went to advanced auto and got a replacement pair today. They have the right connector (not a j hook) and hopefully will fit correctly. They were like $19 each.
