Got some GM TPMS from Amazon. Getting some Bridgestone Dueler h/l Alenza from Discount Tire installed this week. Wanted to get tires from a local tire shop, but in the town I live in about an hour north of Milwaukee they were a bunch of chuckle heads, wouldn't negotiate price on tires, were questioning the size and fitment, and all wanted $100+ for one TPMS. One place (Matthew's Tire) was unsure if they could even do a 22 without mangling the rim and the other place was trying to convince me to take my sensors out of my existing wheels to reuse those because I was going to have a heck of a time selling my tires, rims, & TPMS as a set because they wouldn't work with other vehicles!! I asked him if he never saw any GMT 900 GM's on the road! I asked them if they ever put tires on an Escalade, I see enough of them driving around. They were all at $300-$400 a tire.
Maybe I should've called up the dealership in town that I bought my Yukon from, but I can only imagine their prices would be higher.
I work in Milwaukee probably 19 out of 20 days a month, so not that big of a deal to get the tires from there. Plus, they had them in stock and told me I could swing by and it would take them about an hour to install TPMS & mount and balance all 4 tires. Gotta go with who you are comfortable with and they had a great price.
So, will have pics up by this weekend. Getting my front windows tinted on Thursday. I got some 2" chrome lug nuts, but I think they stick out too far, so have a set of 1.4" lugs coming tomorrow from amazon, I believe they are gorilla ones.
I didn't want to break up my existing tires, TPMS, & 20" stock Denali chrome wheels because the tires on them have less than 1000 miles. figure I can get a good price to sell the wheels as a set and help offset the cost of my upgrade.
