hood fitment 97 tahoe

Will a hood from a 2000 k2500 silverado (old body style) fit my 97 tahoe? Its the old body style so the front end looks just like my tahoe.

I will have to paint it to match my tahoe if i get it but i dont mind its functional scoops.

that is the goodmark 442 hood correct or something like it? would like one myself.

That k2500 i was referring to in other posts didnt work out for its owner. He tried reusing the damaged oil filter bracket. He made it about 60 miles or so and hit a pot hole and it split. Dumped out all the oil and killed it. Family member bought him an suv so he just scrapped it and he wanted to give me the hood for trying to help him out. I just have to get to it soon enough before his mom gets tired of it sitting at her house.

been jobless for about a year now in san bernardino, ca. so i could not afford a new one and nobody around here gives those away. i will just have to wait and hope one day i could score one.

Ya they are so pricey and even when someone is done with the truck they had it on generally someone already has dibs on it. I just got lucky
