I've recently noticed that hot air is coming from thr floor vent in the middle underneath the dash. Is there any way i can make it stop? Could it be my hvac controller or could something be stuck? Has anyone had the issue with thier hoe? thanks again

The venting controls are to the up and on the left side of that box.
Stick your head up in there as best as you can and then move the control knobs.
Can you see the controls moving around? Any binding? I"m guessing that the flappers are not moving in the full range of motion.

Because you asked if anyone else has had issues with thiers, I can say yes.
In the winter at temps below -20c, my drivers feet get cold. So I sacrificed my front passengers by jamming up folded wads of 1" foam strip weatherstipping into every single vent that goes to the passenger side, thus forcing ALL of the hot air into my drivers footwell!
Now my toes are toasty warm on cold winter mornings!
Alas I made the mistake of having one of my boys 'help' me, who promptly informed his mom who happens to be my passenger... you can see where this is going....

EDIT: Shoot! I was going to go get a compnine exploded diagram of the flappers, but I see that they are now shutdown....that sucks.....

Check for varying voltage on the control wire on the actuator as you move knob back and forth.

I'm new to the whole voltage check i'm more into the if the tester light doesn't come then their is no power. Could that work too?

Hopefully your not into replacing the flappers. It's a fairly big job. You have to take off the entire dashboard.

Did you see anything binding in there?

unknown at this time.

I suppose it will just get bright and dim as you move the control knob. for the mode control door it would be be the white wire that has varying voltage as it moved. If you do not see the motor shaft move and the brown has a constant 12v and black has a ground then I would suspect a broken motor or stuck door.
