I have a 2008 Denali. Does anyone know which wire going to the rear view mirror is power (hot wire)? I'm looking to wire my radar detector so I don't have a wire hanging down.
Thanks,
Brian

Definitely go the Invisicord route. I did, and it works great. Off hand, I can't recall which slots you needed to use (I think there are two wires that need to be inserted in the harness). I'll see if I can remember to look at my truck and let you know.

For those suggesting you should run a wire from the fuse box, you need to check out using the rear view mirror. SO much easier, no pulling panels and fishing wire, and it works flawlessly. I ran wire to my fuse box in my '02 Tahoe (and also my Vette), but you just don't need to do that anymore.

I suggest you use a fuse add on kit from Auto Zone and just power off one of the fuse box outlets that turn on/off with the vehicle.
