Folks:

I have a 2008 XL Denali with 65K miles. Service Suspension System error came on yesterday and doesn't appear to want to stop. Other than taking it to the stealer, what are the recommended process to assess the error and then begin remediation? I'm very capable at repairs and really would rather not take it in and pay the extreme fees, if I can.

Thoughts?

Make sure the abs sensor wire connector did not become unplugged on one of the Yukons four corners. Follow the little insulated wire looking things behind each wheel to where the connector is near the frame to find them.

I will check that today. Do they most often come off at the connection at each wheel or somewhere along the frame?

They can only come off along the connector at the frame. They can also tear and break, but reattaching the wire will fix that issues.
