hey evurrrbody,
i've got a 96 tahoe with a couple inches of torsion lift and a 3 inch body lift and 35" all terrains. Not sure about the brand of the torsion lift but it came with shocks that were pretty generic. My ride feels like complete SHAT on the dirt roads i live on (feels like a seisure) and i was wondering what would improve the ride the most:
1. remove the body kit and install a regular lift kit
2. remove the torsion lift and install a regular lift
3. new shocks
or any other suggestions someone might have, thanks in advance

The body lift does not effect the ride. Can you get a picture of the front suspension? I am willing to bet you are cranked too far and have no travel left. The torsion lift is not really a lift but more of an adjustment and when adjusted to far the ride suffers because the suspension can no longer cycle properly. That and crap shocks could make a person want to sell a truck

Funny you mention the Jeep because my brother has one and was telling me about the short wheel base cars suffering from rough ride... I'll get some pics tomorrow and post them up.

Is it just me or does this look barely cranked? I vote shocks at this point. How far are the arms from the stops?

I agree. Doesnt look like its cranked at all. It actually look like my truck right now and mine is cranked down.

Those shocks look like they could use some replacing.

What kind of tires do you have? and grade?

Are you guys are looking at the angle of the bottom control arm? The tires on there are BFG all terrains and i think they are 3 ply but ill check... That sway bar is there if you look at the bottom pick to the left of it you can see the bar going over the steering link
