Take the airbag out by using a small flat blade screwdriver from the backside of the wheel - you will see a spot on each side. You have to put it in there, and rotate the blade to get the bag to "pop"out.
Once its loose - un-plug it.
I'd make sure you disco the battery, and all Airbag fuses too - be carefull when removing them - they are dangerous if they go off.
Get a steering wheel puller, and pull the wheel.
Putting it back on is easy - just push wheel on (straight) and tighten nut..
Push airbag back in.
