Ok so I have numerous 8' surf rods along with a few 12' setups (these break down to 6' sections).
How do you guys transport them to and from the coast?
I cannot put them inside the Yukon as most the time its packed with big fat friends
and gear.
My freshwater rigs we put inside with us. but its REALLY annoying to hear 2 crybabys in the third row complaining about my "Pole" in their faces.
I have thought about some 8" OD PVC 9' long with screw on caps mounted to my roof rack, to hold the rods without the reels mounted.
What have you guys done and how did it work out for ya?
