How do you shut off the stupid google ad's

I can't see what I am typing and I cannot correct my typing errors because when I try, i open the link to the google ad's.

Can anyone help me please?

get firefox, then go to add-ons, find this add on called ad block plus. boom.. no more ads

I use Firefox and I got the download and I downloaded it and I still cannot get rid of it.

Boy do I hate computes sometimes.

Firefox should already have a pop up blocker:

Tools < Options < "Content" Tab


If the box is already checked...look at the "Exceptions"

I haven't used ad block plus in a while but if I remember correctly you should be able to block ads by right clicking and selecting "block" if they aren't already gone.. I'll look into it.
Edit:
it works for me.. did you subscribe to have it block U.S. ads? because it should have gone from this to this.
