how do you unplug side mirrors?

im taking off side mirrors to paint and i understand that you pull off the triangle flap on the door and then unscrew the three nut bolts but how do you unplug the wire harness i cant find a plug ?? to unplug ?? plz help!!! its a 2003 tahoe.

Take off the door panel.

can you just pop off that center part on the front or will it break and stuff ?

Can't say for sure cause I haven't removed mine yet. Sorry

You will have to pull your door panel off to take it off. The wire is run down behind the door panel and held on by two push in clips taped to the wire. It plugs into your switches. Not hard at all to do.
